Biography

Hooker is the director of office leasing and development for Kane with more than 20 years of experience in Raleigh’s commercial real estate market. He is responsible for business operations including the leasing, development, marketing, and business development related to Kane’s office portfolio.

Prior to Kane, Hooker served as Duke Realty’s Vice President of Leasing and Development for its Raleigh business unit. In that role, he was responsible for all business operations for its 5.5 million square foot portfolio. Prior to joining Duke Realty in 2003, Hooker enjoyed successful tenures at Trammel Crow Company and CBRE (and predecessor companies). He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Industrial Relations.

Hooker is a three-time winner of Duke Realty’s Salesperson of the Year and named to its Masters Club six times for performance measures within the top 10% of the company’s leasing and sales production. He has had numerous award winning transactions and developments recognized on both local and national levels.

Outside of work, Hooker is active in the Triangle Area Office Building Association as well as NAIOP, where he serves on the Board of Directors for the local chapter. He also volunteers his time within the community, serving on the Board of Directors for Wake County Boys & Girls Clubs and the Board of Advisors for Raleigh-based nonprofit Band Together. Hooker is an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church where he currently serves as Senior Warden of its vestry.
